Understand the Pattern
The Three Actors Run Every Exploitative System
Exploitation wears different faces. The pattern is always the same.

BULLIES steal openly by force and intimidation, using raw power or coercive laws to take because they can.

PARASITES steal secretly by stealth and deceit, hiding their extractions behind respectable titles and complex rules.

SLAVES are the exploited creators whose labor, health, hopes, and futures are siphoned upward to subsidize both predators.
Food, clothing, shelter, health, education, liberty and safety. These are not luxuries — they are the seven needs that mutual care exists to protect, and exploitation is what happens when they are denied.

Mutual ruin is what we do to each other, every day, when we tolerate a social structure that exploits many of us to benefit a few who take extra. Test any law or system with one question: does it protect people, or does it benefit and protect bullies and parasites?
Reject what fails that test.

The Golden Rule: nearly every culture that set out to be wise arrived at the rule on its own.
Jesus: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Muhammad: None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself. The Jewish rabbis: What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor.
The Buddha, the Hindu sages, Confucius and Humanists all landed in the same place, in different centuries, on different continents, in languages and people groups that never met. Mutual care is what that rule looks like once it grows up into the social structure.
This is the Golden Rule with arms and legs: a budget, a clinic, a roof, a full plate, a secure home. Sentiment that feeds no one is not love. Love is the food on the table and the door that keeps out the cold. THAT is mutual care.
The Hidden Operator
I found twelve techniques parasites commonly use to take from you without your knowing it. Once you can name them and SEE them, you cannot unsee them.

What does "mutual care" actually mean?
Mutual care is a system where people support one another directly, replacing the exploitation of bullies and parasites with cooperation, shared responsibility, and dignity for everyone involved.
Who are the Bullies, Parasites, and Slaves?
These are the three roles that keep exploitative systems running: Bullies take by force, Parasites take by manipulation, and Slaves are the people whose labor and needs are extracted from. Our books explain how to recognize and break these patterns.
